MICAH BROWN

EDUCATION COORDINATOR

Micah Brown fulfills the role of Educational Coordinator for students at Integrated Interventions by overseeing student educational and personal development and their short and long term goals. This includes traditional and non-traditional forms of education from highschool and college to trade schools and certifications. Personal development skills are also nurtured through executive functioning, financial literacy, and intrapersonal curriculum.

Originally born and raised in a small town near the Navajo Reservation in Farmington, New Mexico, Micah has been in Texas for a long time now but, she had first been culturally shocked by the lifestyle, accessibility to amazing resources, and the endless opportunities Texas had to offer along with the exciting cultural atmosphere.

Micah has been with Integrated Interventions for one year where she has quickly moved from mentor, to educational assistant, to lead educational mentor, and now Educational Coordinator. Outside of work, Micah is a Psychology major at the University of Texas at San Antonio where she is also a part of the nation's largest honor society, the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS).

Her most closely held values and passions align with one another seamlessly. Micah's values include knowledge, empathy, consistency, and understanding. With her passions being understanding the human mind and behaviors, striving for goals, making to-do lists, and aiding in the healing of others, Micah has found "an abundance of experience and fulfillment" from her time with us and continues to strive for the building of relationships, progress, and fulfillment with our students.
