Randy GOleman

Randy got his start in the medical field at a young age while serving in the military. He became an EMT and learned that his future would lead him in the direction of helping others. After his honorable discharge, he decided to get a bachelor's degree in Psychology, which helped him in honing the path he would eventually follow. Finding himself wanting to spend more time with the patients he cared for, he decided to get his nursing degree and work in acute facilities. He had the privilege of working on the adult and youth units at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho for 4.5 years. While working at our regional hospital, he decided to continue his education, getting his master’s degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Afterwards, he became nationally board certified.
Randy has found passion in helping others in multiple ways, including offering free CPR certifications, volunteering for Search and Rescue, and gardening so he could give away the vegetables to people more in need. He has also found enjoyment in competitive running and obstacle course races, with the plan of helping others while running.
Randy is a lifelong student who has strived to self-improve in as many different areas as he can. While already having 8 degrees, he plans on starting number 9 shortly. To improve his ability to help others with medical issues, he plans on finishing a Family Nurse Practitioner degree in the next couple years.
When not at work, Randy spends a lot of time outdoors hiking, enjoying nature, gardening, and continuing his education. Having the opportunity to see the world at a younger age, he feels happiest here, where he grew up. He feels these life experiences, along with his medical knowledge are some of the many things he can impart unto students as they progress through Integrated Interventions’ wonderful program.
